David Robinson MD
Tailored Psychiatry
Welcome
I’m Dr. David Robinson, a Harvard-trained psychiatrist who’s passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with empathy, practicality, and a touch of humor. My approach is relaxed and solutions-oriented because I believe mental health care doesn’t have to feel cold or clinical—it should feel human.
My philosophy is simple: work with you—not just your symptoms. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that feels practical and manageable, so you can feel more in control of your life.
I believe in keeping the process straightforward. For conditions like ADHD, depression, and anxiety, the right medications can be truly life-changing, and I don’t believe in making people jump through unnecessary hoops to access the care they need. And while medication can play a powerful role in mental health treatment, I firmly believe it’s not always the answer—and it’s rarely the only answer. I focus on tailoring care to meet each individual’s needs and goals.
Outside of work, you might find me chasing after two kids and two golden doodles.
If you’re looking for a psychiatrist who values empathy, collaboration, and real-world solutions, I’d be honored to work with you.
Let’s tackle this together.
Specializing In
ADHD
ADHD isn’t just about distraction—it’s a brain wired differently, full of energy, creativity, and potential. The great news—and one of the reasons I love working with ADHD—is how well it responds to the right medications. Life doesn’t have to feel so scattered or overwhelming. With the right tools and support, you can harness your strengths and manage the challenges, bringing a sense of focus and clarity to your world.
Depression
Depression can feel baffling, especially when life looks good on the outside. You might wonder why you feel so low when you should be happy, or why the things you used to enjoy just don’t spark the same joy. Sometimes, there’s no clear cause, and that’s okay—it doesn’t make what you’re feeling any less real. Depression is more than sadness, and you don’t have to face it alone. There are ways to feel better and reclaim the lightness that feels out of reach right now.
Anxiety
Anxiety exists for a reason—it’s your brain’s way of keeping you alert and prepared for danger. But in today’s world, that same system can become overactivated, making you feel constantly on edge, tense, or overwhelmed. It’s like your brain is sounding the alarm even when there’s no real threat. Together, we can work on quieting that alarm, finding ways to calm your mind and body so you can move through life with more peace and confidence.
